He crecido en una familia de médicos. He vivido obsesionada con la desnudez, la piel y, sobre todo, el cuerpo. Crecí viéndolo abrir y cerrar, con aguja e hilo. Crecí observando en blanco y negro un corazón latir y la sangre correr por las venas.
De alguna o de muchas formas, siendo diseñadora, también trabajo con el cuerpo. No corto piel, pero corto tela que deja ver la piel; cierro tela que la oculta, protejo ese cuerpo. Trabajo con el cuerpo.
La Obra de Arte Soy Yo, una marca obsesionada por hacer sentir a cada persona que ese cuerpo que tienen es una obra.
Una obra.
Y fue en este punto donde coincidimos para crear este cambio.
LA OBRA DE ARTE SOY YO
I grew up in a family of doctors. I've been obsessed with nudity, skin, and above all, the body. I grew up watching it being opened and closed, with needle and thread. I grew up observing a heart beating in black and white and blood flowing through veins.
In some way, or in many ways, as a designer, I also work with the body. I don't cut skin, but I cut fabric that reveals the skin; I close fabric that hides it, I protect that body. I work with the body.
“i am the artwork”, a brand obsessed with making every person feel that the body they have is a masterpiece. A masterpiece.
And it was at this point that we came together to create this change.
