According to Jewish and Mesopotamian folklore, Lilith was the first woman, preceding Eve, as the first wife of Adam. She was written out of history by male scholars because she chose not to be submissive to man, and subsequently was labeled a temptress or evil spirit. 

To us, Lilith is self-actualized, living her own truth and story.
